I've taken a hiatus since my last journal annnnd I haven't posted a darn thing. Good news is I'm resurrecting my creativity and starting all over again!
Since I've finished animation school, I'm moving on toward actual animation and away from just pure illustrations.
AND! I want to start taking commissions.
I know over the course of my time on deviantart, I've gotten a lot of requests to take commissions. This is actually something that I WILL be putting together in the near future. I've gotten a lot faster at painting and drawing so this is definitely a doable feat.
My brand new blog is located here, and the majority of my work will probably be dumped here from now on. -----> unilunis.tumblr.com/
Since I'm coming back, feel free to message me here or on tumblr.
Hope to hear from you guys soon! Again, I will be taking commissions, so as soon as I have a price listing up and running, I will let you all know. Stay tuned!
------------------------FOR THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN WONDERING WHERE I'VE BEEN <3 ------------------------
I am a busy woman. I am now a Chiropractic Assistant and an Assistant Manager. And yes. It is exactly as stressful as you would think. I often ask myself what the heck I'm doing.
As far as I'm concerned, this is about as crazy as retail and customer service gets. My position at the clinic where I work is fine, and I really enjoy talking to the patients. I believe in the work that my employer does, he's helped a lot of helpless people, myself included. It's the retail one thats really getting my goat!
I've almost forgotten what its like to be yelled at mercilessly by customers. After all I was away at school for a year and I went several months without work after that. I've been insulted, berrated, humiliated and intimidated by a lot of customers over the few short months I've actually been working at *Insert flaky retail store name HERE* and it just seems like ever since I came back, customers have gotten worse. If thats even possible. I guess the common retail salesman is just nothing but a bucket of scum in the eyes of the general public. No matter how good their intentions.
My sister put it a good way. "Right now, we are living in THE GOLDEN AGE OF ENTITLEMENT." Boy. Truer words have never been spoken.
Long story short, my current occupational situation is a WIP.
