I remember this one too. Sonic being so small is a subtle hint at the planet's identity, for people who haven't heard of or played those games. ^.^

This also feels a lot like a master's work. Having art and art history is makign my eye and artistic mind better I suppose.
The cloudwork and sky are marvelous, and this 'destination' for Sonic has so many details, it's astounding too.
I don't know how you colored it, but it reallys draws out the beauty of this piece.
Sonic looks really cute there too.
